Love these parks! So many pictures and so much to see
This is a downhill wooded path and I wouldn't recommend a stroller 😅😅😅🤣 …
The parks are beautiful. There are so many fun programs.
Newton side of the park is the most horrible side of the park. Can't sit and eat and read without being bothered by 3 old men who get mad if you don't speak to them I like to sit in the park in the shade to be left alone a get rid of Migraines. Worst place to be if you want to be left alone. I'll start posting the other 2 men.
The more Rangers the Better. Safety/Law forces are a beautiful thing! Such a wonderful area. We are all truly blessed to have this to enjoy. Bike, walk, hike, or picnic. It's heaven in Ohio!
Love the course here! Regardless of ones ability you are able to start this hike from start to finish and the exercises are not too advanced. Not a Walker or wheelchair accessible place though. The views are AMAZING!
I have to admit, the parks in Summit County are one of the few things I enjoy about this area. Not all of them are kept up the way the should be but most of them are absolutely stunning. Virginia Kendell, the ledges in Twinsburg are probably two of my favorites! If you enjoy photography, art or writing then these two locations are great for capturing some inspiration! A nice (more secluded) park is the O'Neil Woods in Bath, OH. I didn't get to explore both paths yet but the "Trail Lot" was quiet, had a cute little creek , clean and peaceful. Hands down, Summit offers some of the better parks I've visited and are definitely worth the trip :)
Few cities 10 times the size of Akron have anything remotely comparable to this impressive system of parks and natural areas throughout Summit County. We are so very fortunate.
Went on the Haunted Clinton, OH walk tonight. Very fun host, (Sarah, I think?, forgive me) told us lots of cool spooky stories about places around the canals. Thank you!
